Rose Bowl

In case you haven't heard...TCU won the Rose Bowl! We beat Wisconsin, one of the might Big 10 powerhouses, 21-19. It was so incredible to be there for this game. Thank you to my parents for helping me to get there! I absolutely love my Horned Frog football...it borders on obsessive. (Probably doesn't just border on but is more full on.) For those who don't know, I have been going to TCU football games since I was a few months old. It's a family tradition. We sat through many depressing, losing seasons during the 80s and 90s. It makes the success of this era in TCU football all the more sweeter. I am so proud of our team for what they have accomplished and even more proud of their attitudes and classiness even amidst all the crazy politics and money that has taken over college sports. The TCU crowd at the game was an amazing sight to see and hear -- I was so impressed with our energy despite being the smaller school, therefore with a smaller crowd. I can't say enough what an awesome experience this was for me and one that I will definitely never forget.

I stole this picture from Adam's blog and he got it off the Internet. The website is on the photo...what a cool shot though!

I'm so jealous y'all went, but it was so great to see such a good showing of FW fans! Now, "they" know that we can bring a crowd!!! What an incredible game and experience!! I am so proud of our guys and I just wish Gary Patterson would live forever because HE sets the tone and is the reason for the classy guys and program we have.
