Diego and I just got back from our trip to New Mexico. I think we saw the whole state on our trip. We had a wonderful time visiting so many of his family and friends though.
We went to Ruidoso to see friends, Clayton, Cindy, and Lily McCook (and then soon to be Olivia McCook in mom's tummy). Lily is Diego's goddaughter and it was her 2nd birthday...she is just a doll. I love Ruidoso...such a pretty town and we all, of course, loved playing with Lily.
Then, we went to Albuquerque to see Diego's cousin, Herman, and his boys, Daniel and Derrick. This is us at an Albuquerque Isotopes Baseball game. We had lots of fun there and then the boys came with us to his Grandpa's ranch for the 4th. They are such fun kids!
Last, we went to Diego's Grandpa's ranch for the Romero Family Reunion they have every 4th of July. It was so much fun. There were 10 brothers and sisters in his mom's family so its a ton of people. Everybody camps out and we ate yummy New Mexico style home cooking and talked and sang by the campfire. Such a fun family!
