"You are meant to grace the world with your dance, to follow the lead of Jesus wherever he leads you." - Captivating

Aside from Jesus, "...traveling is the great true love of my life...I am loyal and constant in my love for travel...I just don't care what it puts me through. Because I adore it. Because its mine. Because it looks like me." - Eat.Pray.Love.

Here you will find my travels, not just physical travels but emotional and spiritual as well...journeys to different places in the world and journeys of the heart. And, of course, fun and silliness too :)

Back in the USA

Ok I have tried to post this for several days but my computer was being really weird. So this is a little late but here it is anyway. I am back in Texas! I had to jump right into student teaching so I'm still a little tired but it is good to be home. I miss Budapest and Europe but I'm glad to be back to my own bed and actually having a couch just to relax and watch tv on. I'm glad to be back where people in general are friendlier. And I'm glad to be back with friends and family. Thank you all for putting up with my gushing and pictures about Europe. Here are some final pictures from our overnight in London. Molly's boyfriend is in London for the semester so he took us around town and we really had a whirlwind tour of London. We saw the outsides of Big Ben, Parliament, St. Paul's Cathedral, Globe Theater, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and then went to Piccadilly Circus. We also went to the traditional English Pub and had Fish 'n' Chips -- yum. Oh and the best part of our trip was carrying our 4 suitcases (that were right at the 50 pound limit) and our carry-ons from the train station to our hostel and then up 4 stories of a steep, narrow staircase to our room since there was of course no lift. No but we really did have a good time in London -- I would love to go back someday for obviously a longer stay. I hope I get to see all of you soon...Joanie & Kelly, I promise I will be at Altamesa on Sunday.

Ashley, It was good to see you and confirm that you really were back home - but sorry we didn't really get to talk and hear stories. Let's just plan on doing that soon...I need to hear the funny stories that your mom didn't tell us!
