So Budapest is absolutely amazing!! We have spent the past few days exploring the city and getting used to public transporation. We have pretty much mastered the subway so that is good and really are learning our way around. I feel so bad because we don't speak but three words in Hungarian but most people speak at least some English. The people from the school we are teaching at have been so nice and accommodating. The architecture and history here is so interesting. Its a little cold but actually not as bad as I thought. So far we have seen the Royal Palace and Castle Hill, Heroes Square, and several fun neighborhoods and cafes. Today we went to the Szechenyi Bath...Budapest is known for its thermal baths. This one is outdoor and I guess is like a huge hot tub but much better. It is surrounded by this hundreds of years old gorgeous building. Locals and tourists go here and old men sit in the water and play chess. It was absolutely an amazing experience. But its late and time for bed...here are a few pictures...I'll try to post more soon! Miss you all!!
